Comodo Announces Next Generation Advanced Endpoint Protection Version 1.6

Comodo announces the release of its new Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection 1.6 software available immediately. Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection 1.6 is integrated with Comodo Internet Security, rated #1 in proactive security by Matousec.com, an independent security testing authority. ESM 1.6 combines the unparalleled malware prevention of CIS software together with powerful central administration features for businesses with dozens to thousands of PCs.

Version 1.6 New Release Features include:

• A Chinese console and interface for customers interested in using ESM 1.6 in Chinese (Mandarin dialect).
• ESM 1.6 will have the ability to automatically install Comodo Internet Security (Antivirus/Firewall components) in Chinese.
• ESM is now compatible to work on a domain controller, and simplifies endpoint security by putting administrators responsible, thereby controlling access, enforcing security practices and integrating with existing infrastructures.
• Users no longer must be logged on the endpoint to distribute CIS configuration to the endpoints. With ESM 1.6, administrators can push out CIS configuration even when a user is logged off.
• ESM 1.6 offers the ability to use custom ports for the antivirus component while safeguarding entry points to the user’s environment. CIS is already capable of using custom non-default ports.
