Comodo Announces Beta Release of PC Support Manager

Jersey City, NJ, March 10, 2010 — Comodo Security Solutions today announced the Beta release of PC Support Manager, a powerful Remote Support platform allowing for PC maintenance and security support, The announcement was made at the XChange Solution Provider Conference taking place in Los Angeles.

Comodo’s PC Support Manager (PSM) is a powerful desktop support and management system, offering integrated and automated PC maintenance tools that work remotely without actually being installed on the remote PC. A convenient icon on the user’s desktop initiates a chat session with the solution provider’s staff allowing them to quickly answer tier-one support question or initiate a remote support session.

Comodo PSM can be implemented by System Builders by placing a customized Icon on the desktop allowing easy support access into every PC shipped. Solution providers can also use the platform to support their tier one corporate users, reducing the need for expensive telephone support.

The software runs on globally-distributed servers, through highly-secure applications and connections, provided by Comodo, a leader in Internet security. This allows users globally to connect back to the reseller support team.

Future options will include after hours support supplied by Comodo technicians and an online sales center where resellers may offer clients the ability to buy and download applications.

Solution providers can simultaneously support multiple end user remote sessions. An executive dashboard allows privileged users to view and monitor ongoing support sessions, and to help manage support staff. Automated plug-ins includes an installer, system information, security information, and automated backups.
