Comodo is internationally recognized for extensive research into the hardware implementation of RSA cryptography and for a number of major advances in the field.
Among these, Comodo Research Lab owns the patent rights to a randomized exponentiation algorithm called "Mist" which is particularly suitable for RSA applications in smartcards. It provides a key software solution as part of security measures against power analysis attacks. The company is in the process of setting up a web site for research results on this new algorithm.
