Next Generation, Preventative Firewall Achieves High Acclaim from Leading Industry Sources in its Ability to Prevent Viruses, Spyware, Malware, Rootkits and Trojans from Infiltrating Computers

JERSEY CITY, NJ January 17, 2008 - Comodo, a leading Internet security company, today announced that the new release of Comodo Firewall Pro Version 3.0. is being downloaded and installed at a rate of almost 40,000 new users per day which makes Comodo Firewall Pro the fastest growing free firewall solution, protecting millions of computers worldwide. This new release advances computer security from being a defensive and reactive system to a preventative and proactive solution based on a new A-VSMART™ technology architecture, (A-VSMART is short for "Anti; Virus, Spyware, Malware, Adware, Rootkit and Trojan").
