Black Hat Vulnerabilities
Speaking of Vulnerabilities
A word from Melih Abdulhayoglu, CEO of Comodo
"If you see the vulnerabilities that are being exploited today, they are still the same" as 20 years ago, The Inquirer quoted Cristine Hoepers, general manager at Brazilian National Computer Emergency Response Team as saying in UN Warns of World War Online. It also quotes Hamadoun Toure, the chief of the ITU saying that the next big war will most likely be fought online.
As certificate providers, most Comodo partners can do little to guard against DNS attacks and outdated software. But as business owners, and computer owners, we all have a responsibility to keep our own security software up to date and guard against vulnerability. Please be aware that Comodo Security Solution is offering its award-winning antivirus and firewall software for enterprise networks, with convenient centralized administration. Now Comodo Advanced Endpoint Protection also includes disk encryption at no additional charge.
And as certificate providers, it's important to remember that until 1996, certificates were classified as munitions. Today they are more powerful than ever. Comodo has a duty to make sure that its certificates are properly issued and administered. You are Comodo's partner in Building Trust Online, certificate by certificate.
