What you need for this position:
  1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
  2. Knowledge and experience using monitoring tools
  3. Knowledge of configuring and managing UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.
  4. Technical writing skills
  5. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (i.e. 2012, 2008 r2, and 2003, including Active Directory)
  6. Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
  7. Experience implementing and managing Active Directory domains and forests at an enterprise level across multiple physical locations.
Requirements:
  1. Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Active Directory domains and forests, including bare metal and virtual Windows server management.
  2. Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels and ensure workstation and server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  4. Ensure data and media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations and support media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services.
  5. Analyze and promote standard operating procedures and conduct routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  6. Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database or library of all supporting documentation and manage and maintain domain replication, group policy objects, and domain organizational unit structure.
  7. Identify and implement enhancements to monitor, alert, and report on the security and health of the operational Active Directory environment.
